We have built for our guests a gorgeous panoramic swimming pool at Torre Bertona! The swimming pool is situated in the luxuriant terraced garden, rich of medicinal and aromatic plants, old roses and perfumed lavanda bushes.
Ariel is the largest vacation apartment, situated on the highest floor of the building and from which one can enjoy the splendid panorama of Todi as well as the countryside at the opposite end.
In this vacation apartment, the restored stone moldings from the original construction, as well as the remaining traces of the primitive murals, are testimonies of a long home life use.

Torre Bertona is like something out of a storybook. Fireflies light up the lane and fields at night. Fairytale vistas. The air is scented by honeysuckle. The gardens are inviting. I understand there are fields of sunflowers in high summer. There’s even a dungeon! Todi, an extraordinary medieval (or older) walled mountaintop city, is just a 10 minute drive. This is ideal for complete relaxation or a small retreat/workshop group…long walks in the countryside. The owner, Gloria, provides for your every need. The apartments are sunny, well appointed, newly renovated and the bathrooms (the top thing on my list when I travel) are modern and pristine. Get yourself to Torre Bertona, Gloria will have chilled Grechetto waiting.

We stayed 8 gorgeous nights in this paradise. we usually travel to small italian small towns and stay in agriturismos. this was one of the best. best location to stay if you are going to visit umbria. 200m. to main road E45 and 5km. to Todi. very nice bedroom witha comfortable and big bed. a roomy bathroom and a cozy and charming living room with a small kitchen enclosed for our nightly italian pastas and salads. Gloria and Luisa were very helpful with everything. Perfect gateway if you are willing to scape from big hotels and stay at the umbrian hills.
Ho scelto Torre Bertona per caso. Cercavo un luogo di pace e bellezza per i miei bambini, un rifugio silenzioso per me. Ho trovato una casa bellissima e il silenzio della campagna. Mi ha accolto un gatto delizioso sulla stradina sterrata che ha riportato la mia fantasia al mondo delle fiabe. Ho sentito il bisogno di conoscere la storia di questo luogo, e grazie a Gloria e alla sua disponibilità nel raccontarmi, ho avuto un’emozione in più. Tornare indietro nel tempo, è stata questa la magia!
I just spent a week here in June 2011 and I’ve only got one word: magical. Beautiful house and countryside, the stuff of storybooks, and Gloria and her staff are amazing! Todi is magnificient and just a 10 minute drive away. A really exceptional experience.
We had a marvellous stay at Torre Bertona. Gloria is a wonderful guest. Any questions are answered immediately. She is very helpful (and multilingual)! Even for our departure day she was ready to give us some extra hours before leaving for the airport. We stayed in the largest flat which is really large enough for a family of 5. Well equipped, cosy inside. The place to be for a holiday in Umbria.
Die Unterkunft im Turm war hervorragend. Die Angaben und die Fotos haben sich voll bestätigt. Mit einer Flasche Wein zur Begrüßung und vielen guten Informationen war an alles gedacht. Traumhaft war der Blick von der Terrasse über das Tal und auf Todi auf dem Hügel gegenüber. Die Lage ist hervorragend, um viele schöne Ausflüge in interessante Orte zu unternehmen. Man kann diese Unterkunft nur weiter empfehlen!
